Here's your checklist for driving a clean car as warm weather arrives.

1. If you are due for an oil change, make an appointment to have it done.
2. Do a tire check. Driving on rain slick roads is hazardous if your tread is worn. Make sure you tires are at the optimum pressure. Don't forget to check the spare.
3. Unload any excess weight in the trunk to get better gas mileage.
4. Reduce idling while parked and waiting in drive thru lanes and school car rider lines.
5. Walk or bike when you can. It's good for the air and for you.
